Some of you may of seen the cool images, slide shows and video clips projected around our Parties and other the lasers!

We were lucky to have the privilege to work with two great people - VJ Lucifer and VJ Witcher who formed the dynamic duo which was Lucifer Visuals. Lucifer Visuals have shared some amazing moments at Planet Angel over the years including the live countdown till midnight on New Year’s Eve with the London fireworks, and also the Painting with light concept a first at a club night we believe!

After a long innings, the guys have decided to call it a day and we’d like to really thank them for their input and part in making Planet Angel what it is today…

We’ve also heard that although the original team is no more, VJ Witcher (Simon Budsik) is back and he is carrying on the Lucifer Visuals name. He said it was a great partnership; he discovered his talents through the original team and is inspired to go it alone… So we’d like to congratulate Simon and also let you know that he’s back as the new Lucifer Visuals for the May Summer of Love Launch Party with some awesome visuals! Do we say welcome or welcome back then? Break a leg Simon :)

We’re just a couple of weeks into 2012 and already the days really are getting longer… bit by bit spring is creeping closer!  We’re planning some superb parties for 2012 developing on 13 years experience of putting on events we have some real surprise gatherings to unveil soon. Also, being an ethical company that aims to ‘help people achieve their aims’, we’re very pleased to announce that this year they’ll be even more opportunities for people to get involved in this exciting organisation.  So if you want to be part of the team and share the fun, learn some new skills, perform - or help Planet Angel in some way, then just get in touch!

Of course our next Party is our special Valentines’ Ball on Friday 10th February.  It’s a fun-packed loved-up Party with 3 big rooms of top music, lasers, excellent lighting and huge sound systems, there are live fire shows, a show stopping live band, Belly Dancing Happenings, Arial Hooping, friendship card workshops and lots of fun interactivity to play with!  There are limited ‘Love Tickets’ for just £10 if you want to ‘share the love’ and bring something to give away!  Ordinary tickets are £15.  It’s going to be epic!

The Special Santa Tickets to the Valentines’ Ball on Friday 10th February have sold out!  But don’t worry, you told us you loved the Prezzy Tickets at the 12th Birthday Party and as you know, we always listen; so...  we’re very pleased to announce a limited number of special ‘Love Tickets’ to the Valentine’s Ball!  

You can go to the Ball for just £10 with a Love Ticket... all you need to do is share the love: bring something to share, bake a cake, give out head massages, make some friendship bracelets, anything!

All you need to do when you arrive is see a Host on the door and tell them what you’re going to be doing!

So if you feel like spreading the love and getting involved, grab your Love Ticket now, if you’d rather just come and Party, ordinary tickets are £15.

We’re planning a fantastic Party for the Valentines’ Ball and will announce a superb DJ and Activities Line-up very soon – with a truly awesome live band!

Tomorrow is Winter Solstice: the shortest day, and tonight is the longest night... from here on in the days get longer and the nights shorter, what a cheery thought!

We know that - understandably, some people don’t want to be tagged on photos on Facebook and naturally, Planet Angel takes people’s privacy very seriously which is why we’ve not enabled tagging on our Facebook to date.

We’re very pleased to report that Facebook have finally updated the tagging feature so that you can now set your Facebook to ask for your approval before any tagged photos of you appear on your wall.

This is great news as it allows people to have fun with tagging whilst protecting people’s privacy. In view of this we’re going to enable tagging on the Planet Angel Facebook, so jump on and have some fun!

If you've not done so already, to enable the new tag notification feature, go to Facebook and click on the down arrow at the top-right. This should give you a menu - select 'Privacy Settings'. On this page, scroll down to 'How tags work' and click on 'Edit Settings'. This should pop up a dialogue box. The top option should either be 'Timeline review' or 'Profile review', depending on whether or not you have enabled the Facebook Timeline feature for your profile. Whichever it is, click on the word 'Off' to get another dialogue box allowing you to change this setting, and set it to 'Enabled'. Now you will get asked before tagged photos appear on your profile and in your friends' feeds!
