hello people!
Sat at home on a friday night with nothing to do, phoned my wicked friend from uni jon, (colourful character)
he invited me to this club, i had no idea where i was going or who would be there. Within 10mins i had but my dancing shoes on and some lipstick and i was on the train to London ( i live in the sticks)
I have only been clubbing in London once before and hated it so much i said i would never go again, (terrible R+B music and men clad in bling bling)
But arriving at planet angle on the first April party was the best thing i have experienced before in my life ever! i met some fantastic new people whom i hope i meet again (Freddie you know who you are, remmeber me? (the Planet angel virgin????) and i cant thank my friends enough for incouraging me to just let my hair down and finally accept that i really do like to dance with glow sticks ha ha!!!! (thanks Jon, and thank you steph for listenning, its nice to find sombody as lovely as you that i can relate to.)

What an amazing vibe! Can honestly say I've never experienced such a friendly atmosphere and had no worries about partying! The garden was fab, and decor lovely!
Last couple of hours in the breaks room rocked! And
thought the night was rounded off very nicely with Twisted Kitten in the chill out room, just what I needed
Will definately keep an eye out for this in the future |

My first chance to speak to fellow Planeteers without having to shout over the music or attempt some hastily devised form of sign language motioning towards the toilets!
Friday's planet was truly awesome and - especially with the embargo on swearing - I can't really do it justice in words!!!
I entirely concur with previous posters that it far surpassed the venue's debut!
I think back in February, memory of the Arches and all it had borne still lingered in our minds and our partying was accompanied by an echo of nostalgic mourning; nobody really knew their way around and it was all a rather tentative trial run...
It proved, however, to be the perfect prelude to Friday's party, since by the weekend everyone was just itching for a storming night!!!
Now that I'm used to it, in a way I almost prefer the more labarithine (word?) layout, coz it suits my traditional Planet policy of roaming aimlessly - and very happily - around the club all night. Yay!
A new discovery, for me, was the garden which had hitherto been unchartered during my wanderings. It was an absolutely wicked little place! more relaxing than the previous garden and i think it helped that it was a mild night too!
For all this talk of venue, however, I can't kid myself that the feeling of wonder still resonating from the aftermath of the weekend derives from anything other than the traditional hub of the Planet Angel experience: THE PEOPLE!
Everyone was just great on Friday! Came with a slightly different crew to usual, but along with members of my own party (Dafydd, Matt, jB, Nick, James, John etc.) there were loads of other familiar faces who made the night special: Josein, Sarah, Ellie (who is responsible for coining my guestbook name!) Gemma, and many many people whose faces and vibrant enthusiam render their names utterly inconsequential!
Big love to you all; Planet's back on track, and if my clocks are not lying to me, May's Planet is currently at
T - 23days, 9hrs, 10 mins, 16seconds....

hey forgot to say that I bought a PA virgin along in April, he hadn't been clubbing for years and forgot how much he had missed everything. Steve really enjoyed himself and a big thank you to all the friendly people that chatted to him. What really amazed him was how so many different groups of people all came together to have some jolly good fun, so thank you everyone and see you in May!!! |

Wow I cant wait for the May PA...this one wil be very special to me?as on the Saturday PA runs into its my 19th birthday, and its also my 1 year anniversary of going to PA, yay?so cant wait to celebrate my birthday with people I love, and many more to meet and love?
In the meantime, i rest my fingers and leave all in peace?

Last Friday was my first time at the new venue. I had heard different stories about the club, some bad, some good, but to me I think it is great. All the interlocking levels creat a unique space, one that says Planet Angel all over. Good choice guys.

OH MY GOD what a night!!! although last angel was bloomin fantastic, due to the scary new venue it just wasnt home...however, april angel (my birthday month) pulled out every single stop you could ever imagine...a night, like every past angel, that i will never forget! (although i will admit certain parts later on in the night are a little hazy...mmmm)

Oh my goodness! It was really good to be at PA - Only been twice in the past, old venue. I did miss the old one due to the fact that I still dont understand the layout of the new venue, very confusing, but Im sure I will get used to it (and people at PA are so helpful that there was always someone happy to help...)

Spent most of the night dancing in the meltdown room... LOVED the harder stuff and particularly the last tune of the night.

I for one am well excited about the direction Planet Angel is moving in and if this new look is anything to go by,the future's looking a nice shade of purple.

Glad to see that you enjoyed the last party. It's nice to know that the new venue hasn't affected the party too much
Anyway, with regards to your question about Tequila. Ben will be back with us very, very soon and that's a promise. He's enjoying a well earned break at the moment, but we can't wait to see what he comes up with next - especially after such a storming last set as resident at the December party. That was one for the history books methinks.
Mark my words, you should hopefully be seeing Tequila back before Summer comes upon us. Watch out for his Patladjan project too. They did the happening in September. We are all certain that the three of them are onto a winner and also look forward to getting them back live for you before too long.

Hi all
Best better start with the new venue is amazing, loved the fact that if wondering lost you will always return to the heart of the party and from there get your bearings and find where you wanted to be, the theory was tested by the lovely Stich!
Loved seeing everyone again, especilly after such a long gap.
Sane - don't miss the next Planet and i'll give you that massage you asked for. Well you dissappeared and I forgot, so yeah next time!
Alan - Good to see you again! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your night and had an amazing time :o)
And meeting new loads of new peeps.

BTW umm hi Fraser...i think you that Fraser...Graces hubby....yes it is true if you run faster then time goes faster....but the key ingredient is you must enjoy the running...i know it sonuds crazy but...think about it...when you do things you enjoy time goes fast...so in a crazy way running faster does make time go faster hehe
