I had my first ever dream about Planet Angel the other night.
Sneaking around 'backstage' helping to set things up... with Arif and JFS and Pete...
My friend Jay had returned and he and I were helping as best we could to make the place look pretty and planetified...
For some reason I had a big bag of fish and chips and I was giving out hugs to all and sundry and then giving out chips too.
I woke up with the biggest smile on my face.
Can't wait for November Angel.

I'm rather sad I missed last nights Planet, due to a family wedding today, hope everyone who went had a great time and I'll definately be attending next month.
Also - to Planet people: Do you know when DJ Wun Tun (also named Justin) will be playing again? I spoke to him at September's PA and he said he'd be doing a back to back set with someone else before the end of the year - will this be next month do you know? For everyone else, DJ Wun Tun played (the best set I've ever seen) at July's PA in the red room (a kinda skinny looking guy, did a remix of The Pink Panther amongst some other fantastic mashups).
Can't wait to see the, as always fantastic, photos of last night!

Sad news folks...
...I'm not going to be able to make the October Angel.
I'm sorry.
Why?
Well - it's kinda Planet Angel's fault to be honest...
Sitting comfortably?
Then I'll begin...
At the last Angel I met an astonishing person.
An amazing person.
Utterly engaging, on every level - this person's soul speaks to mine in a way I did not know was possible.
Someone who, since meeting them, has made my life a very, very happy place to be indeed.
So - why no Angel?
Well this person is off to China next week... FOR THREE MONTHS.
The leaving party is this Friday and unfortunately it is not being held at Angel.
I've been tearing myself in two trying to figure how (if at all) I could do both..
And - after all the to-ing and fro-ing - I've realised I must do what I must.
I'm currently trying to find someone to take over the mantle of 'free hugs guy' for October (more news as I get it) but rest assured..
I will be BACK in November.
November - not only being the return to the fold of a certain Mr Magicfingers but also a birthday month for a couple members of the group (myself included).
So travel safe on your journey to Planet Angel my fellow Planeteers.
This Dude's gotta sit this one out and tend to matters of the heart.

I really had a brilliant time on Friday, LOVED kicking off into an impromtu beat-box session in the garden, talking randomness to the mad hatter guy, bounding around to Cern, being there for our DJ L's debut set after working with us on the crew for 6 years, so many more excellent moment... and of course James and his fantastic free hugz... you give GOOD HUGZ!

That was amazing!
Gave last months party a miss due to lack of funds and didnt have my party head on, and it always suprises me how good angel really is.
The atmosphere on friday was electric! Everyone there for a good time and i think that was accomplished by all.
The DJ on at about 1 or half one in the funky lounge was immense. The bass was so dirty! Felt like getting into one of those mud baths and coming out feeling squeeky clean, hehe.
A big hello and hug (many of those were shared throughout the night) to Kate and Tim! So good to share the evening with yas!
Also a hello to Ollie who i met, absolute legend, glad u came back to the flat afterwards and hope your drive was ok!

hope everyone is looking forward to the party on friday! I am very disapointed i cant make it as i have to go away for the weekend! 1st party i have missed in a while and am really gonna miss it!
SAM: hopefully you will get to read this before the party! If you love Jungle and hardcore you will be sure to love the funky room! I am not saying they will play loads of either but there will be pleanty of real heavy basslines to get down to! there always is! there is also a Meltdown Room which mostly plays trance and also a chill out room which always place a great range of styles! You will not regret traverling!!

Can't wait for Friday as my original party people are going to be there: My friend Jo who introduced me to this 4 years ago and Jamie who is my bf Andy's mate. We all used to be here but they went their own way and it was just me and Andy.
But then I have my wonderful crew the likes of Gemma, Russ, Ellie, Fliss, Grace, Fraser, Jay (miss u already!), Lauren, Ash, Squid and numerous others.
Big up James Whatelydue (free hugs man!). He is from my part of Surrey, small world huh!

hiya i went to my first party with you on 14/8/007 and it was brilliant, one of the crew showed me around and was loverly with kindness and care, been going to parties on and off for years and plant angel is the one that i would like to keep going back to, and how amasing was it to see a women dj i danced like the old days i loved it and i meet really cool people ,thank you all at the party all the best |

This has been me since Fri when I attended an amazing party with fabulous people. Thanks to all those who put in so much to make Angel what it is, an amazing party atmosphere where everyone gets along and are happy to help and meet new like minded souls. Smoking out side is fantastic it means you have to move around the club and meet so many more people. It was great to move around from the meltdown room where dancing was amazing onto the funky room where pendulums fasten your seat belt was playing so I had a good bounce in there too. The painting was amazing the end piece so bright and vibrant just like the artists that created it!!! I also had fun meeting Al and dragging him off to meet my friend Charlie as they where both flip flops hehe ...It was sad that this was my good friend J's last angel for a while as he's leaving the country but the massive group hug he got from most of his friends in the meltdown room right at the end of the night was sooo amazing I don't think any of us will forget it or him xxxx

I'd like to give a massive shout out to everyone who stayed the distance and had a good old fashioned boogie in the Funky Lounge last Friday. You were all wicked and as per usual i had a superb time on both sides of the decks. Thanks also to everyone at Planet Angel who makes each experience a unique one to remember.
