Have been going to planet Angel for about 7 months now and we have had such a fantasic time. Since moving to the new location I have been dissappointed with the sound system in the breaks room and where the music is not as good as it used to be. I am so sad about this because we were always guaranteed a fantastic night out at least once a month which kept me going till the next one!
Dont get me wrong, the people are always fantastic but I feel like I have to say something as I need to dance mmy @rse off to the music I love and I dont want to loose Planet Angel. Come on Guys keep it up!! |

Planet Angel Chilled at Shillibeer's last Sunday was excellent. Nice to sit out in the courtyard, lots of friendly people to chat to and all sorts of things going on, from crafts to Playstation and we loved Glenn's excellent photos. Ben bought poi and plucked up the courage to have a go in public! Congratulations Pete and Angel on finding a really good new venue and making Sundays truly chilled. |

Hey Peeps! Am so Glad that after all the deliberate thoughts of not going to PA that things changed on Friday morning and I just couldn't keep away.
All the magic that has been waining for me came back in one full whoop. There was just something about Planet Angel this month that was extra extra special, and that was even before my wonderful if challenging babe asked me to spend the rest of my life with him!
There seemed to be something different about PA. I felt as though there was less decor ( but just right) or something ( though I'm sure it wasn't that), I think maybe the Atches have finally taken on the planet Angel vibe into thier walls...It feels like home again.
I tried to dance, but my feet weren't doing it, but the music just felt part of the whole thing anyway...magical
What a wonderful idea for the happening...truely interactive and truley encompassing the PA style and soon to be legend. (I've already started roping likeminded Brummies into the PA ethos, and hopefully will be arranging a coach down soon).
It was wonderful to see people taking part in somethig with such huge grins all over thier faces.
I felt somewhat 'naked' without my usual costume attire, but a huge thanks to KAYE for your kind and thoughful words to me, you made me realise something, which also made the night very special.
Pete and Angel, thanks again. Everytime something new and more wonderfl happens at PA, I feel insired and amazed.

I think Sly just about summed up the night for me. Another incredible party [storming set Sly :-)] and the *best* happening I think I've seen at any party. All the performers were wonderful, the drummers kicked up a fantastic beat, the atmosphere was electric and the vibe and the crowd were sensational. Hopefully there will be another similar Happening in the future when perhaps my poi skills will be good enough for me to join in.
Great to see the punters giving something back.

Possibly the most enjoyable Planet Angel I have ever had... it goes from strength to strength. The Happening was incredible - I have never seen such a total expression of everything Planet Angel is about, so exemplified in *such* a short space of time.

Just wanted to say THANKS to Pete and Angel for a fantastic Chilled yesterday. The new venue is gorgeous, the garden was exactly what was needed. Spent most of the day spinning poi and hence missed pretty much anything that happened inside... apologies to the DJs and musicians!

I have recently performed at the rhythums of the world festival in Hitchin, after the second gig of the day I met Andy and shelley who gave me this address. They were really lovely people and I think that The Funky Monks would fit in well with such like minded people. Please send me some information about giging at Planet Angel, I am in the above mentioned band and also write and perform my own poetry. Becky, the happening was beautiful - such a shame there was a bit of background noise from next door and people chatting...but still fantastic.
Was great to see everyone, i feel like PA is a place i go to see my friends and make some new ones...it was totally wikkid gggrrrr, and the P4A picture was a fantasic idea and i'm sure it will look great.
C'mon England....what a great result yesterday :D
Anyway, i'll go now b4 ppl tell me to shut up about football..

I'd never been to planet angel before last night. And despite going with a group of people that I'd never met in person before, I found the atmosphere so friendly and welcoming. I loved the painting wall. After dancing all night, I've just come home, but the buzz I got from being there hasn't worn off and I can't stop thinking about it. Both felt it was the most friendly, childed out Friday night experience on offer. As usual it was a delight to meet up with Jane and Hill crew, Amelia and Pussie - and imparticular this wicked New Zealander called Mark who had this amazing friendly glow which impressed all of us. In response to a previous message regarding fire staff; fire is actually prohibited anywhere inside or around the venue, due to the Health & Safety considerations involved... there are occasions where venues agree to professional acts using fire as a part of their show, but this must be strictly by written agreement and having produced a valid insurance certificate in respect of public liability.
Hope that clears up any misunderstanding!

Other thank that. Well the cuntdown has started..we are a week away...can't wait. This may be my last PA in my 17 months marathon. Might have to miss my first one ever in June...but that's cos I'm going to China for 2 weeks.
Planet Angel has become the cer=ntral focal point in my life and in many other people that I know. And certainly not in a negative way. Never ever had I known there to be such a sense of community. We get together to enjoy the party every month, but I think the same with many other people, our PA friends, ARE our friends, and the two mix and become 1.
Every weekend, various different groups get together to spend time awa from the hum drum that life....and they are all Party people.
Who nows what PA will be in 5 years time, I can only begin to imagine and dream, though the dream is bright and very, very big....

I've just finished reading the comments re. last month's party and it brought it all back to me in one big emotional rush. It WAS fantastic, and the Planet Angel magic was in evidence - it works anywhere and in great abundance! I loved the new venue - it looked great, and it was packed with really friendly, smiley people. Next month's party will be my 12th PA - a whole year of Planet Angel's. And in that year, I have experienced such joy and beauty in people and connected with it, inside myself. And Planet Angel has played a HUGE part in that transformation for me.
So THANK YOU to everyone who makes it happen, Pete & Angel, all the beautiful DJ's, the music, the performers, the amazing, amazing crew and all the party people.
Can't wait for the next party - my chance to explore a bit more heaven on earth.

My first Planet Angel and there is no word to sum up what an incredible night i had. The music, decor, atmosphere, everything was just perfect. Not forgetting the key thing- the people- all so friendly and so nice- I love u all. Look forward to next one- counting down every second, all my love willxx

Well helllooooooo! Been a while since i signed this thing.....Been busy leading my own little after party and weekday Pa continuation party.....which is going very nicely.....Big Hi to all the P4A Angels, and to the Brummie Angels too....
Great Party Guys...felt ever so guilty at not helping out, but felt not so guilty at having a wicked time....Best PA for me yet.
Was a bit scarey, and not so intimate as IG, but as someone else said...it's PA growing up I think...and bye the end of the night It felt special. New, but special. Nice new decor, and great carpeting.....And yes, my fluttery friend, you played a fantastic set......also like to say thanks to Matt for the stuff in the chillbar...i was happily floating around i there for hours.
Well, making up for lost time by writing loads of crap...but well done....I guess,til next time then...

hiya, had a whale of a time at ur party on 12th april & will definitely b returning for more fun & frolics. i was however a tad disappointed when i found your garden area had a covering as i had brought along my fire staff with the intention of doing some dance & some fire breathing & teaching anyone who was interested. could this possibly b remedied at a future event? i hope so. i would love to come along & contribute next time. big love to u all. |

Richard (u-4-ic), I told you this when we were de-rigging, but I think you're a LEGEND!!! last night was such an amazing party (as usual).i would like to thank every single person there for being so lovely and friendly, (especially- louis,will,james,sam,joe,bill,charlotte, mikey,pete, janey & dan,john and other louis). the new venue is perfect for planet angel, the decorations were beautiful and the music was amazing! i hope that every1 has a lovely day, i can't wait to see every1 the next party-(or before).

What a totally fantastic night! The new venue is gorgeous, the jugglers were brilliant, the music was storming (thanks butterfly pete!) As per usual, met about a million really nice people and talked to all the other really nice people that I knew from previous PAs. It's shame that I never seem to actually sit down and talk as much as I'd like to, though. Anyway, I suspect I may be rambling, so I'm gonna shut up here. Just a quick hi to everyone that was at the last *Chilled* @Spitz... I was on the door for much of the night but I wanna say thanx to everyone who helped make it such a fantastic party - particularly when I knocked off @ 8pm and was dancing my ass off!!! I had a stonking night and all credit to U-4-IC and t'other dj that took us through to the end... I can't wait till Friday - if you want to say hi, I'll be on the door taking your money from 10 till midnight then after that - boogying my pants off somewhere around... look out for my white jeans... The Arches...hmm. Garden?? Concrete patio...nice idea though. nice venue...went to Kundalini...MASSIVELY buisy. a RAVE not a PARTY. havent been to PA in ages...has the crowd grown in size?? I met my best friends about 3.5 years ago, after deciding to go to a club on my own. Now, we are Angel regulars, so come on down, put on your dancin' shoes, a happy face and prepare to be taken on a journey you'll ne'r forget.
