Thank you for the most amazing night of my life. I was raving with my friends one moment then chilling in the garden or by the fan the next, the most surreal but amazing experience. Somewhere where everyone has time for everyone, where if you get knocked you both say sorry your not abused. Just the most amazing place with the most amazing people. I'll be back with all my friends who came for the first time!

Last night was my second Planet and it was just as amazing as my first (last month.
Id like tp say thankyou to literally everyon: the organisers, DJs, helpers, the people that went, everyone. Never in my life have I experienced such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Iv met some wonderful wonderful people an I hope to see you all again next month

Hiya James
Just a quick one to say thank you very much for your post. Your comments have really driven home what I - as part of the Planet Angel music team - have helped to achieve over the last 3 and a bit years. It's something that will live with me for the rest of my life.
We have always felt it important let the DJs know that they are part of the proceedings and not just a peripheral device there to generate money for the "promoters", and I have personally taken great pleasure seeing these talented and like minded individuals rock the rooms month after month after month. It really doesn't get any better than that, believe me.
To everyone involved in Planet Angel; the music team, the crew, the venue staff and you wonderful, wonderful party people, thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for allowing me the honour of being your music coordinator over this period.
You have singlehandedly restored my faith in the music industry that I love with so much passion, for that, I will always be grateful.
To Jo, even though you really won't need it, good luck missus.
And especially to my good friend Rolo - Who'd have thought all that would happen, eh?

An open letter to the music coordinators...
(incoming and outgoing)
Last Saturday I was out with friends in South London...
Old friends who I haven't seen for a while - but friends who don't know Angel.
We stumbled upon a techno/trance night in Brixton and had a good giggle.. I thought:
"brilliant! I'll be in my element!"
And to an extent - I was... I had a really nice night with my friends.
But - of course I couldn't help draw comparisons...
I didn't mean to - I tried not to...
But I did.
And do you know the one thing that stood out for me the most?
It was the DJ.
I just didn't trust him.
It seemed like he was taking us, his audience, for granted... he'd build and build and build and never reward us with a really big drop/payoff...
And I found myself explaining this to a friend of mine... she agreed.
We didn't trust the DJ.

Well. Done. I've only been coming to Angel since February of this year. And, aside from the friendly, happy atmosphere that Angel provides... the unique relationship the crowd has with the DJ is something I only really thought about at the weekend.
I would imagine that you sir would have a lot to do with this given the artistic choices you've had to make month in and month out.

Would like to say good luck to Heather and Jo and would like to give a masive thanks to Rob Baggs, the music at angel over the past has inspired me greatly and has definatley shaped who i am today! Was good to read all the feedback from the questions, really does show how much you care and how much planet angel really is the peoples party! Also thanks for the thanks for the lego. Oh Wow...I haven't missed a PA party since I started coming last June 2006, except for the july party. and what a party to miss i've just looked at the pics and I cought some time on the web cam on the night and I missed out on what looks like another great amazing party...dam my swollen ankle!! I missed everyone that went but was glad to catch up with most at the Glade which was sooo awesome!! most of us commented how it was just like being at a vary big outdoor PA!! So fantastic! I'm looking forward so much to August PA as its a special one for some of us (you know who i'm talking about) so wounld'nt miss this one for anything and I have my special dancing girl back so only another two weeks to go i can't wait so see you all again its been too long

Firstly, well done, your set a couple of weeks ago was one you can be very, very proud of.
Secondly, having identified the length of time since the previous back to back set / versus, or which ever way you want to translate it, & the general concesus that they add a genuine element of "fun" that fits very nicely within Planet Angel's "creative" parameters is, strangely enough, currently under discussion. Therefore it is not beyond the realms of possibility that this may happen sometime in the future. I shall run it through the music team & see what we can come up with.
It was nice to see you again, especially when you were on such good form...& clearly having loads of fun doing it...which is what it's all about.

OMG.....sory just had to say that.... how flippin awesome was last night.... having not been to the past three parties i was geared up with three months of excitement and boy i had fun..... there is just no way to describe the night... it was absolutely fabulous..... the music... oh the music was ..wow... soo lifting so powerful so... sooo lol.... it was just perfect and not to mention the thankful lovely weather and the garden area being a lovely place to chill... relax... massage... to congregate and communicate... could a night be anymore perfect....
and to top it all... met some lovely lovely people... including... this has to go first (i would say richmond clan but thats not entirely correct) but what is the Chiswick Crew... so nice seeing you guys, so glad you guys finally came to possibly one of the best nights you will ever experience in your life... it truely is amazing....BTW happy birthday again liz lol....oh and i also met friends of Paula... yay i got it right lol... but can member your mate... here it goes... Scott, Camilla, Lucy and Vikki, i think thats rite oh and Alex and the dude with the glow bracelets in you ears, im sorry at this moment i cant member you name but i wont forget you... and how could one not mention justin... what a cool set, loved every moment... Just to let you all know that I will be face/body painting for the *Party*. Come and find me for some UV paint and glitter fun. Most likely to be found in the *Meltdown Room*, (tis too banging to leave sometimes!), generally bouncing about with a very big grin, lots of UV paint and glitter, and of course a very fantastic neon *Contributor* sticker. What an awesom chilled
I had the BEST FUN working on the craft table with my crafty buddy Jelly....the fluff bending pipe cleaner city was absolutley brilliant.....THANK YOU.... to all the kids and grown ups that got crafty....You guys all rock!! The sun catchers and balloon sculptures were stunning aswell....The baloon hat has gone to a very special girl called Ava who couldn't be there on Sunday....it was all beautiful....Glen you took some awesom photos....thanks mate!! well, in the four years I*ve been part of the *angel* party, i have never been to a *chilled*.
I can honestly say, if you*ve never been you are missing out.
It was such a lovely setting with the bar by the river, watching the world go by, chatting with friends in beautiful sunshine.
It really was about the people, including evryone in something special. The children were a delight, seeing thier smiling faces after Linda had painted butterflies and flowers was so sweet. It was such a nice feeling to see so many people of all ages being able to experience what *angel* is all about.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that *chilled* will be marked in my diary just as the *party* is.
Thank you to everyone, as usual you have yet again created something unique and special.

Chilled was AWESOME!
When I was first introduced to Angel, Chilled had unfortunatly taken a break so I was really looking forward to discovering what it is like. I loved every moment of it, the venue was great, loved the balcony and the vibe was spot on.
It was great to sit and chat to the people that you meet at the party and make those friendships stronger. All in all a very enjoyable night and an excellent way to end a week and start a new one, my only wish is that I could have finished work earlier and got there sooner!

What a fantastic PA loved the glitterfit the Monkey House is now well and truely covered in glitter!! Our stairs shimmer with glitter !!
Was good fun taking photos again this month and sorry i've been delayed in getting them to Glen as lots of work and two of my favorate people have now gone to thailand (one for two whole months )so wanted to catch up with them before they left and i'd borrowed the camera and had to wait for the disc of photos ooppsss but all sorted now they've been sent and should be up soon and there are a few excelent ones of the glitterfit...big cloud of glitter over everyone
Hope everyone likes them can't wait til July PA gonna miss it not being on in June as thats my B'day but might try and make it to chilled.

I was gutted...

[i]"Never mind - don't leave it so late next time... How did you hear about us anyway?"
"Well - I was at Planet Angel last week and..."
(interrupting).. "You know planet angel?!"
"Yeah! I LOVE that place... anyway I've got these friends that I know there.."
"(interupting again)...if you know Planet Angel then I'm afraid I'm going to HAVE to sell you a ticket. I'm re-opening the till for you sir..."
"WOW! Thank you SO much!"
"Its ok. A friend of Planet is a friend of Synergy..."
I kid you not.
That conversation happened.
