Dear People of Planet,
I've been a HUGE fan of all things Planet Angel related ever since I came to my first party back in February.
Since then I've been along every month and I've met some amazing people.
At the May party a few people who I knew via the Glitterfit insisted that I should try and make it along to a thing called Synergy.
I went along and met so many more amazing, like-minded people as well as a whole bunch of people I knew from Planet.
I ended up spending most of the weekend with these people. All of whom know each other through Planet.
Squid, Glitterfairy, Rave Bunny - you know who you are...
We all owe thanks and love to Pete and Angel.
Without whom none of us would know each other..
I've had an amazing month of May so far - and PA kicked it off for me in style.

Ollie, thanks for the photos, they're awesome. The one of me (spikey gloves, big smile) has been getting compliments from many of my friends and I think it's one of the best shots of me in years.
To everyone at Angel, what an awesome night, I'm still finding glitter after a week! Great tunes in the meltdown room and so many fabulous people to share it with. Roll on July. Plus, do we have a date for August yet, I have a plan to figure and it will be my last one for a few months, want to make sure I don't miss it.

Without taking ANYTHING away from any other photographer previously - these photos are SO good.
Completely... natural I think is the word I'm looking for.
Loving the work there.
Definitely worth getting back again.

Friday was another great night! BIG thanks to Pete, Angel & all the crew!
I'm in agreement with Lauren... the funky lounge was amazing on Friday! The music was top notch. I spent pretty much the whole night in there dancin my socks off!

U know what, Planet Angel has revived itself thanks to me and my glitter girls and boys! Best idea ever!
I got so much admiration wearing my pink fluffy cowgirl hat! Someone offered me £20 for it... Lots of guys wanted to try it on! Got photo taken loads of times. Im now famous on the photos, got spotted by random people from last month (thanks girls xx) Got totally abused with the paint, what fun!

Oh..what a perfect way to say goodbye to PA for the summer... The only problem was that it went far too fast. I would've liked to dance for another couple of hours.

Is there a problem with spreading a large amount of glitter in the garden?!!!! Because I would like to propose a GLITTERFIT.
Just for a bit of random Planet Angel fun .....
Definition of "A Glitterfit":
A sudden period of uncontrolled or childish behaviour, much like a tantrum (flailiing arms, stamping feet etc) marked by the large quantities of glitter involved. This is a group event. The aim is to throw glitter in all directions, in order to create a group glitterstorm, and to cover everything in sight in a thick layer of glitter. Whoever throws the most glitter, and covers the most people, is the best Glitterfitter.
Participants must be armed with large quantities of the said substance, and must be enthusiastic in their glitterthrowing.
I propose that this takes place in the garden at Angel (for obvious reasons!)
There are only two rules:
Glitter cannot be thrown in peoples faces. As fun as this sounds, glitter in your eyes REALLY hurts!!! (I say this with experience from previous mini-fits!)
Secondly, Glitterfit participants must be WILLING participants. Please do not throw over bystanders (Inless, of course, you are sure they want to be covered in glitter!)
Assuming that the Planet Angel crew / people from the venue have no problems with this, let the Glitterfit commence!!!!

We hereby grant permission for a GLITTERFIT in the garden, however we'd like there to be a set time for said glitterfit, and at least two irresponsible adults to work with our hosts to oversee proceedings and some sort of official start mechanism once all glitterfit participants are in place... we should imagine this will be like herding cats and propose someone with a big loud voice or a whistle to let proceedings commence! |

Thanks for your feedback about Serotonin who were the band you are talking about that played a great live Happening at the February party.
Russ from Serotonin is a regular at the party and can generally be found to be having a dance about in the Meltdown (Red) room throughout the night.
I'm sure he'd appreciate your comments in person and won't bite you if you approach him.......unless he hasn't been fed for the few days prior to the party, of course

It was a great Angel, everyone dressing up for Glowfairy's birthday, only at Angel can you dress as a skeleton then meet another person who also had a skeleton suit on!
I had a bit of a moment the next day, but I am over it now and to all the people that for the past couple of years have become good friends to me sending you love and hugs, will see you all next tuesday.
Andy was great meeting you and will keep in touch, Will we are two peas in a pod and the ballonermarang chatter was genius!

Ooooh. Planet angel, then whirly. Almost too much. Hehe had a rly great one.... bit of poi at the beginning, bunny ears and all.. danced on the speakers, went back with the dj in the dj booth (dude i owe u one, that was amazing) and as morning came bouced back to monkey house. Eventualy broke whilst at a funfair.... in green lanes.... next to the dodgems... with bunny ears still on. :S lolol :P much love to every one (especialy monkey house) |

Many thanks to Glen for taking such wonderful pics of us all - the ones of my my crew especially!
I was part of Glowfairy's do and dressed as a pink and white fairy (with cute pink wand to match, which I borrowed from my 8 year old niece!). We all had such fun and as always, such beautiful fluffy memories!
Much love to my crew - my gorgeous bf Andy, Gemma & Russ, Ellie, Fliss & Stu, Lols & Ash, Grace, Fraser, Jay (thanks again mate!), Britt & Pete and the others whose names I dont know (sorry!)!
Also I finally found Lisa (who I hooked up with last month) who is part of the crew and had a great dance with her
I will be so dressed up next time, no-one will know me.........

Damn, that was a lot of fun.
We celebrated Glowfairy's birthday in some fine style, looked collectively gorgeous and danced like baby godesses.
Lots of kudos to those who dressed up, we made Ellenie very happy! And the usual heartfelt thanks to the monkey house and its attendants for breaking us and then putting us back together again in time for Tranz-mission. |

I always Love Planet Angel and this month was no exception. I dressed up as the Queen of Hearts to celebrate my great friend Glowfairy's Birthday. Also alot of my lovely friends also dressed up for the occassion you possible saw us Glowfairy was Alice in Wonderland and there's a really cute pic of her in the garden. We also had a pink & white fairy, Aladin and his monkey (my lovely Stu), two little red riding hoods obviously great minds think alike , a skelaten, a winged messenger of the gods, a Jester, a cowboy, a pirate, and an emperor and i'm sure there are even more that i've forgot to mention...long weekend but one of the best so far always great to be surrounded by such lovely wonderful beautiful people at Planet Angel and at the fab after party which usually follows
all I can say is I can't wait for more excellent photos to be posted but most of all I can't wait for the next Planet Angel Love to you all ********** |

i have to agree with the previous comments that shift-d really did rip the place apart! i was really shaking my little booty to that set all the way through! also have to add what a nice atmosphere the place had as this was my first event since the good old days in london bridge and the standards haven't dropped!!

Well, at midday today, I wasn*t sure if me n rascal would actually be making it tonight!
Our flight back from Alicante was delayed until 3pm aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh
but luckily we*ve got back, unpacked, had a snooze, phoned people, had some food, got our outfits ready, packed our bags and got our party heads on!!! all before 9pm!!!! we are so hardcore. And it will al be worth it for Glowfairy*s *birthday* tonight.
